Summer

Activities for the adventurous as well as those who prefer a less demanding pace. Smell the clear, fresh air and watch the elk, moose and deer graze right before your eyes, or just relax on one of our many lake beaches. Try your hand at backpacking, horseback riding, kayaking, guided glacier walks, wind surfing, river rafting, canoeing, or alpine/climbing courses. There are also leisurely walks, boat cruises on Maligne Lake, scenic drives, sightseeing tours, lake and stream fishing, golfing, tennis, picnicking, pleasant cycling trips and basking in the glow of the soothing natural waters of Miette Hot Springs Pools. Winter Activities

Experience Jasper's wonderful playground when the scenery is most spectacular. Photograph a suspended frozen waterfall, herds of elk as they move through the lowlands or simply a dazzling, snow-clad mountain landscape. Plan a snow season holiday of downhill skiing. Jasper's Marmot basin is a downhill skier's paradise with a 1,000 acres of ski terrain ready to offer you sun, fun and snow.

Try your hand at ice fishing, winter camping, skating snowshoeing, sleigh rides, guided backcountry ski trips or ice climbing coarses. These are just a few of the many activities Jasper offers during the winter months.

Spring

A delightful time of year awaits you from the end of March to early June. The crowds are thin and the mountains are still snow-clad, but in the valleys the flowers are breaking through between patches of snow. You can ski one day and golf the next, or take advantage of the excellent cross-country ski conditions that remain at Maligne Lake well into May. Hiking trails take you to mountain creeks and rivers that are beginning to break up while a Tramway ride gives you a stunning vista of snow covered mountain tops.

Bird-watching, boating, cycling, horseback riding and so much more is in store for you! It's the best of both worlds - a combination of winter and summer events await you in Jasper's spring season.

Fall

The busy days of Jasper are over and Jasper is at its finest! The town and surrounding mountains come alive with splashes of amber and gold set against an often cloudless blue sky. The night air is crisp while the days are warm, and the wildlife is returning to the valley floor. Enjoy many of the summer attractions and activities that remain open through September and into October. The list of things to see and do in Jasper's spectracular fall season is practically endless.
